Taliesin Teague, better known as Cricket to his fans, is a Welsh musician. Relatively popular, his music tends toward folk-pop, making use of old Welsh and English songs and giving them a modern musical spin as well as writing his own music.

As well as being a regular musician, Cricket is a bard meaning he's able to weave magic into his songs and words. Charming people and creating other magical effects. While he can do this, it's not something he does, preferring to play music for its own sake and for creating joy or other emotions in his listeners.

Taliesin also is a proxy for an immortal getting sent to do things when the immortal is busy. Or just can't be bothered. Or... well, you know immortals.
